How To Open Multiple MSN Clients Simultaneously

Categories: Useful Things - Windows

I have a few MSN accounts, one for business use and the others for leisure chats. I use different names and email addresses for business MSN account and leisure chat accounts so I need to login and logout very often and when I am in MSN business account I cannot see the online stats of my friends in MSN leisure chat accounts, can’t see whether which of my friends are online… so this has causes me inconveniences, but luckily I found a solution!

The solution is to download and install FREE Messenger plus! Live. This FREE software is a Window Live Messenger Extension and it allows you to open multiple MSN clients!! That’s not all, this software can do alot of customization like setting your own language, add multiple email accounts for notification, lock your MSN client, enable quick texts, and much more… This is really a fantastic software for MSN users.

There are too many features in Messenger plus that I will leave you to explore, but what I want to show you now is how to open multiple MSN clients simultaneously.

==> First of all you need to download the FREE software here and install it.

Use Video To Make Desktop Wallpaper

Categories: Useful Things - Windows

Ever thought of having your favorite movie to become your desktop wallpaper? Now you can! The steps to do this are pretty simple also, just follow closely below. Tested with winXP and .avi files only.

1. Open your favorite html editor (frontpage, dreamweaver etc..).

2. Create a new file.

3. Insert these 2 lines of codes:

<body topmargin="0" leftmargin="0">

<img border="0" dynsrc="yourmovie.avi" start="fileopen" width="1024" height="800" loop="infinite">

- Change dynsrc="yourmovie.avi" to the movie file you want to appear in your desktop, the movie file must be in the same drive as this file you are going to save.

- Change width="1024" height="800" to your window desktop resolution, if you are using 1024X800 resolution than leave it as it is.

- Change loop="infinite" to loop="0" if you don’t want the movie to repeat forever. Or change to loop="2" if you want the movie to repeat 2 times or whatever times you set.

4. Save as file name moviedesktop.htm in C: drive or which ever drive your movie file is in.

==> You may also download the created file here to save your trouble. Just open it with your html editor and edit those options.

5. Right click anywhere on your desktop and click properties > Desktop > Browse

6. Browse to your moviedesktop.htm file and click open > apply > Ok and you are done!

The movie should be running as your desktop wallpaper now. See my example below, one of my favorite singer, Gary Cao. Should have music but I have some sound problem with the video capture software.

At any time you want to stop playing the movie just right click anywhere on the deskstop and click on “Stop” and click on “Play” to play again.

Changing different wallpaper

Since your desktop is covered by the movie and when you right click anywhere, it will display the movie options, so to change wallpaper you need to go to Control Panel > Display and change from there. You may want to create different files moviedesktop1.htm, moviedesktop2.htm, moviedesktop3.htm… with different movies so you can change easily. Take note of the file size, if the file is too big your pc may take some time to start. Enjoy your Video Desktop Wallpaper =). Don’t forget to say thanks if you find this useful.

Categories: Useful Things - Windows

Recently, I have did some testing on my site with cookies on Internet Explorer 7 browser. When I am trying to find the cookies I have set using script and wanted to delete it… I have trouble finding the IE7 cookie folder… WHERE IS IT??? I can’t seem to find it and it really frustrated me. The folder is not in Documents and Settings > Administrator > Cookies… yes it’s not there… Under IE7 browser TOOLS > Internet options you can’t find an option to view the cookies. So I searched for a tool to view IE7 cookies and I found a good one.

This FREE software IECookiesView saved my day!
